How does he do it?
I begin with an idea and produce several drawings to visualize the concept. I'll use as many photographs and videos as possible as references. In some cases, hundreds of hours are spent sculpting to arrive at a finished version.
Once the sculpture is complete I create a silicone rubber mold to produce each casting.
Each piece is cured in a pressurized chamber to eliminate possible air bubbles.
I check the reproductions for any errors. Several copies are painted to created the right look for the finished piece. This final prototype becomes the master from which all future sculptures are fashioned. Changed can occur at any time and at all stages of production.
